With more than 35 years of international executive leadership experience across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, Alexander Ankel advises founders, boards, investors and family offices on strategic growth, institutional capital and international expansion.

Throughout his executive career, he has served in CEO, Regional CEO, Executive Board and Supervisory Board positions within leading international financial institutions, including Allianz, ERGO, Munich Re and Khazanah Nasional Berhad, the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Malaysia.

Over the course of his career, he has advised on and led close to 40 buy-side and sell-side transactions, international growth initiatives, business transformations and cross-border strategic partnerships.

Today, he focuses on strategic advisory, capital raising, governance, international partnerships and long-term value creation.
